Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of gystsystems.com (the "Site") and any coaching sessions, workshops, digital content, or community offerings provided by GYST Coaching LLC ("GYST," "we," "us," or "our"). By booking a session, purchasing a workshop, joining the Community, or otherwise using our Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who We Are

GYST Coaching LLC is a Pennsylvania limited liability company providing systems-based life and productivity coaching to individuals, including college students and working professionals.

2. Our Services

GYST offers one-on-one coaching sessions, session packages, monthly coaching retainers, half-day and full-day workshops, and a paid community membership, as described on the Site. Specific pricing and formats are listed at gystsystems.com and may change from time to time.

3. Not Medical, Legal, Financial, or Therapeutic Advice

GYST provides coaching — not medical, psychological, legal, financial, or therapeutic advice or treatment. Coaching is intended to help you build practical systems and habits; it is not a substitute for mental health care, medical care, or professional advice in those areas. If you're experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a licensed professional or emergency services.

4. Booking, Payment, and Scheduling

  • Sessions and workshops are booked through Calendly and paid for through PayPal, via Squarespace's Pay Links checkout, at the time of booking, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Monthly retainer and Community memberships renew automatically each billing period until cancelled.

  • You're responsible for providing accurate contact and payment information.

5. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Refunds

  • Individual sessions: Sessions may be rescheduled or cancelled up to 24 hours before the scheduled time without charge. Cancellations made after that window, or missed sessions, are non-refundable.

  • Session packages: Package purchases are non-refundable once the first session is used, but unused sessions remain valid for 6 months from purchase.

  • Monthly retainer: You may cancel your retainer at any time effective at the end of the current billing period. We don't offer partial-month refunds.

  • Workshops: Workshop registrations are refundable up to 14 days before the workshop date, after which they become non-refundable but may be transferred to a future date at our discretion.

  • Community membership: You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, with no partial-period refunds.

6. Client Responsibilities

Coaching works best when you show up and engage honestly. You agree to provide accurate information, participate in good faith, and understand that your results depend substantially on your own effort and follow-through — GYST cannot guarantee specific outcomes.

7. Intellectual Property

All frameworks, materials, worksheets, slide decks, and content provided through GYST (including the GYST five-pillar framework and related tools) are the intellectual property of GYST Coaching LLC. They're licensed to you for your personal use only. You may not copy, resell, distribute, or repurpose GYST materials for commercial use without our written permission.

8. Community Guidelines

If you join the GYST Community, you agree to engage respectfully with other members and coaching staff. We reserve the right to remove any member who violates these Terms or behaves in a way that's harmful or disruptive to the community, without refund of the current billing period.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GYST Coaching LLC and its founder are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our Services. Our total liability for any claim related to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee that coaching will produce any specific result.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the revised version on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Site or Services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
